Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 29, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes the handling of information in gdrivexcentralbox, a personal Google Drive integration operated for private use with rclone.

1. Purpose

gdrivexcentralbox allows its owner to authorize access to a Google Drive account and perform personal file-management tasks, such as listing, uploading, downloading, copying, moving, or organizing files, subject to the Google permissions granted.

2. Google account and Drive data

Following authorization, the rclone integration accesses Google Drive files and metadata as needed for operations initiated or configured by the owner. The exact access depends on the Google OAuth scopes approved during authorization.

Files transferred through the integration are processed between the owner's connected systems and Google Drive. Google Drive content is not displayed on, or collected through, this public informational website.

3. Authentication credentials

Google OAuth tokens and related credentials are used by the private rclone installation to authenticate requests. They are intended to be stored in the owner's private server configuration, not within the public GitHub Pages website. The owner is responsible for restricting access to those credentials and for protecting the server on which rclone operates.

4. Information collection on this website

This static website has no registration forms, contact forms, application database, advertising trackers, or custom analytics scripts. The hosting provider, GitHub Pages, may process technical request information according to its own policies.

5. Sharing and disclosure

The integration is intended exclusively for the owner's use. It does not operate a service that sells user data or shares Drive content with advertisers. Data requested through the integration is communicated to Google APIs and to the owner's configured systems to perform authorized file operations. Data handling by Google is governed by Google's applicable privacy policies.

6. Storage and retention

Files remain in Google Drive or in locations selected by the owner. Credentials, transfer logs, and temporary data, where produced by rclone or the operating system, are managed on the owner's infrastructure. Retention depends on the owner's server settings and Google Drive settings.

7. Security

The owner is responsible for securing the systems, authentication tokens, and files used in this personal integration. No public website can guarantee the security of external systems or services.

8. Control and revocation

The Google account owner can revoke access through Google Account connections. Local copies, log files, and stored credentials on the owner's systems must be managed separately.

9. Changes

This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the integration or its use. Any revised version will be published at this URL with an updated effective date.

10. Contact

gdrivexcentralbox is a private-use project without a public support service. The owner maintains and administers the integration directly. Google OAuth consent screen contact information is provided separately in the Google Cloud project configuration.
